Yarrow is a ornamental wild flower with many uses. Vigorous plants are freshly harvested on the day of purchase and posted unwashed for extra preservation. Yarrow Red and Pink is a perennial flower and it’s a variety of the medicinal white Yarrow that grows wild in Ireland and it’s latin name ‘Achillea millefolium’ refers to the shape of it’s leafs – it means ‘thousand leaf’. It’s flowers attract numerous beneficial insects to the garden such as pollinators and predatory insects that help to keep pests such as aphids in check and keep a balance in your garden.
