The transition between Winter and Spring is usually a busy time of year. Especially getting ready for the new growing season while making the most of natures bounty available at this time, in our case hardwood cuttings. It’s the perfect time of year to start plants from cuttings as the sap in the wood is rising and leaf buds are just beginning to open the cambium layer (green layer) is most active after a long Winters hibernation. We are re-covering our paths in the garden with a thin layer of woodchips to keep our feet clean and dry during the coming growing season. All this and more in the new video below.
