We’re tidying our little plant nursery and made some surprising discoveries. Despite a lot of losses mostly due to the drought last summer, we are really happy with other plants that have propagated themselves naturally such as tip-layering thornless blackberries and suckering strawberries.
The new second hand polytunnel is much bigger than the old one and it’s taking up more space so storing all the new plants outdoors after repotting will be quite a challenge. All the more reason to reorganize the nursery and get ready. Our tuber grow challenge is also getting started with one jerusalem artichoke plant popping out.
