Great Mullein is not only nice to look at, it is versatile! Also known as cowboys toilet paper because it’s leaves are super soft due to thousands of hairs covering them to stop it from drying out. We like planting Mullein in borders around production garden beds to protect our crops by attracting beneficial insects. The flowers are medicinal and the seed stalk once dry was used as a torch in medieval times. Plus it smells as good as Roses if not better! 😀
