Here is a very short film about Forest Gardens featuring Martin Crawford. It’s an amazing and inspiring place!
One day we would like to have a forest garden, we have planted hundreds of perennial flowers, fruits, vegetables and trees. We are constantly expanding biodiversity by inter-planting new species, some rare and some common. Over the coming months we will be planting more fig trees, hardy kiwi’s, mulberry trees and splitting our ancient tubers the yacons among many more new plants started from seed. Enjoy the short film, there is a full 1 hour tour video of Martin Crawfords forest garden in the comments.

When is your next workshop in Roscommon
Hi Mary, thanks for your message. It’s a good time of the year to do another workshop. We could do one on no dig gardening with mulch, since we have been on the radio about it for the last few weeks and we have gathered lots of material. We will announce it soon. All the best!
