Yarrow is a perennial flowering that grows wild in Ireland and it comes in many colours. It’s leaves are edible and make for a great addition for salads and it’s flowers attract beneficial insects to the garden such as pollinators and predatory insects that keep pests in check.

One of it’s common names is ‘soldier’s wound wort’ because it has the ability to cloth blood almost instantly. Archaeologists have found that Yarrow has associations to human kind for over 60,000 years. It’s Latin name ‘millefolium’ refers to the shape of it’s leafs, meaning ‘thousand leaf’. Yarrow is also known as globe flower because of it’s flowers round globe like shape.

Plants are 12 months old and are you sent to you bare root.
