We are now starting and potting more plants for the remainder of August just to make the most of the growing season. In September and October we’ll be doing more homesteading jobs and preserving autumns bounty from the gardens. This week it cooled down a lot since last weeks heat wave and with that the rain wasn’t long to follow. Although the no dig gardens do very well during times of drought, plants are looking relieved and our new no dig garden has greened up a lot. Hopefully it’ll turn into a canopy of produce by the end of September leaving no space for weeds to grow. We also waxed our first batch of cheese for practice and upon popular request we’ll be making a video of our second batch.
