Seed saving in your garden is a great way to extend one growing season into the next. With peas and beans for example we like just let them dry in the pods and harvest them any time before the winter. A lot less work than harvesting them early and drying them manually. Once kept dry and dark they store until next spring when it’s time to start new seedlings again.
