Almost every gardener has a bit of a love/hate relationship with nettles. On one hand they’re a nuisance when they pop up in undesirable places such as garden beds, but on the other hand they’re a versatile food, compost and insectary plant. You just got to make sure you manage them properly not letting them go to seed near your veg beds because they will rather rudely take over the entire garden. It’s a powerful plant and it can be utilized to it’s full potential if kept in check.
