Last weekend we hosted our first Homesteading Workshop Day. It was a great success and we’d like thank all that attended including Margaret’s Kitchen in Roscommon for providing fresh savory scones and apple pies. We were teaching the basics in 6 different workshops to give participants a basic understanding and ideas to research further. These include growing food using no dig gardening, preserving food, keeping chickens, herbal remedies, backup power & lights and homebrewing beer, wine and cider. The upcoming event is already sold out, but there are still some spaces for the one after that. For more details and tickets see our online shop linked below.
