Growing long term storable foods have many advantages such as cutting down on preserving and most of them are extremely low maintenance crops. All of this saves time that can be invested elsewhere, for example expanding the garden or simply enjoying it. In this video I’m briefly discussing some of the vegetables we like to grow, particularly the ones that can be left in the garden beyond the growing season deep in the winter, giving you a very long harvest window and you’re picking them fresh just before use.
