I made a video on the mistakes we made after setting up one of our No Dig gardens, so that others will hopefully not make the same mistakes as well. The vegetables we planted are absolutely thriving and are looking spectacular! Unfortunately a few little other plants we didn’t intent to grow were also beginning to establish in our growing beds. From our own experience we know that No Dig gardens only have 1% the weeds growing in them than conventional gardens. This is for a number of reasons, the main reason being not exposing old weed or grass seeds to the surface by forking over the soil. At the end of this video there is a quick preview of the Woodchip Island garden tour coming up soon!

Where do you get the mushroom compost ?
You can get it from any mushroom farm local to you. It’s usually fairly cheap but transport is the main cost.
