Making Soil – Auto Compost – Woodchips turned into soil in only 6 months!
Here is a 1 minute video showing the results! Using no dig lasagne (back to eden) gardening with a good 6-8inch (15-20cm) thick layer of woodchips / branchmulch. Not only did they block the weeds for the whole growing season, but also they have mostly broken down into new and extremely fertile soil full of microbials and minerals without any maintenance or management. Woodchip mulch makes for great insect habitat increasing fertility of the soil hugely, even throughout the winter months!
