In this video i’ll show you a few varieties of elder. It’s such a useful tree, but not only for it’s flowers and berries which serve the insects and the birds as well as ourselves. It’s also quick growing into a dense hedge providing your garden with windbreaking and privacy. Granted, there are other trees with edible foliage that could be deemed even more useful, however i’d like to argue that the elder is the most useful overall followed by a close second, the willow.
