Elephant Garlic is a perennial in the leek family. While it makes a giant bulb made up of individual cloves and it tastes just like garlic, but it’s much milder and pleasant than regular garlic. It is also much much bigger, hence the name.

Oerprei is also a perennial plant, a bulbous leek from Belgium. It can eaten raw or cooked and it has a mild flavour halfway between onion and leek without the spice of the onion.

Egyptian Walking Onions are an unusual perennial vegetable because they literally walk along and spread by tip-layering. Zero maintenance while growing and very storeable after harvested and drying. Video COMING SOON
