The quickest and easiest way to make a no dig garden is to simply have a load of mushroom compost dumped where you’d like a garden. Let it rest for a couple of months or longer, cover the grass around the pile with cardboard and now drag out the compost to about 5 inches or 12 cm. Ready to plant up immediately.
