The Woodchip Island

Gardening can be highly productive with near zero maintenance by working with nature and creating beautiful spaces in your garden. Combining methods such as ‘no dig’, mulching, insectary and polyculture planting mimicking forest systems helps to restore long term fertility and biodiversity. This new garden is to produce vegetables, fruit, herbs, plants and tubers year around.

Creating a productive wildlife heaven in the form of a forest garden and building extensive diversity of plants are among the long term goals to enable research and learning for all those interested or involved. We want encourage others by demonstrating that gardening can be pleasure some rather than a shore and that you can enjoy the most tasty and fresh seasonal produce from your own garden!

Pictures and Videos will added as the garden progresses.
